  2. Organizing innovative and sustainable research and community service projects to develop food business and technology strategies using local resources from Kalimantan.

  3. Building cooperation between government institutions, food industries, and UMKM actors to advance local food industries.

Produce food engineering graduates who have

  1. An ability to communicate effectively in oral and written manners within a range of audiences
  2. An ability to identify, formulate, analyse, solve complex problems, and make informed judgments, which considers the impact of the solutions within realistic constraints in such aspects as law, economic, environment, social, politics, health and safety, sustainability as well as to utilize information technology and the potential of national resources with global perspective.
  3. An ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary and multicultural team whose members together provide leadership to achieve the objectives
  4. An ability to apply Pancasila values, ethical, and professional responsibilities
  5. An ability to perform life-long learning and apply new knowledge as needed using appropriate learning strategies.
  6. An ability to design a process of adding value to food/agricultural products based on the principles of food/agricultural products science by combining various unit operation to produce safe, nutritious, and quality food/agricultural products.
  7. Mastering knowledge of the principles of food/agricultural products science (chemistry and food/agricultural products analysis, microbiology and food safety, food/agricultural products process engineering, food biochemistry and nutrition) to be formulated in integrated process design techniques.
