In some cities, there are companies that provide scholarships for students domiciled in the city where the company operates. Scholarship recipients from institutions will usually receive UKT assistance for a maximum of 8 semesters as well as living expenses. Some examples of these scholarships are the Pupuk Kaltim Peduli Scholarship (from Bontang), the Berau Coal Scholarship (from Berau). There are also companies that open scholarship programs for all students in Indonesia. However, the assistance provided is only for 1 year and you have to re-apply in the following year to get the scholarship.
